Premier, an end-to-end architecture, design, procurement, project management and development firm, has promoted Johannes Michalsky to EVP.
Previously, he served as SVP, project management for the past three years. In his new role, Michalsky guides the firm’s strategic direction, oversees operations and manages teams while ensuring that the firm continues to drive forward with a commitment to growth and innovation.
“Johannes has played a valuable role within the Ashford Inc.’s group of companies for the last 10 years, and we are thrilled to name him EVP at Premier,” said Hector Sanchez, CEO, Premier. “His time working across various roles both in project management and hotel operations has prepared him for his new role where he will undoubtedly bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the industry to further elevate Premier’s success.”
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Michalsky is responsible for managing the design, architecture, procurement, project management and corporate engineering teams. He is also tasked with spearheading budgeting and contract administration while driving the growth and success of the firm.

Prior to joining Premier, Michalsky previously served as VP, project management and VP, operations at Premier’s sister company, Remington Hospitality. He also served as director, operations improvement at Medicia Holdings and spent time at Hewlett-Packard, FirstCity Financial Corporation and Ferrostaal Group.
