Picture paw-fect guestrooms

This summer, the poshest patios for dogs in San Francisco are at these five ‘Spectacular Studio’ suites at W San Francisco, which are outfitted with private patio structures designed by Skylab Architecture and custom-made by LIT Workshop. Part of Skylab’s Gold Fever design, which draws inspiration from San Francisco’s region and rich history, the expansion of the newly renovated guestrooms will delight pet parents who can use the stylish tent structures for lounging in modern comfort while keeping their fur babies happy, safe and entertained.

Expanding the notion of traditional guestrooms, the Spectacular Studios were conceived with unique permanent tent structures where guests can venture out to a private, peaceful extension of their room while staying safe and secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Inspired by the Gold Rush-era homes in the goldfields, where miners carved out places to sleep, relax and live, the beveled tent structures feature overhead heat lamps to stay warm and cozy and geometric design, with modern lines and a large, eye-catching window with triangular panes looking out.

Renowned for placing pets in the lap of luxury with its P.A.W. (Pets Are Welcome) program, W San Francisco invites Spectacular Studio guests to enjoy the tented terraces for their pets’ comfort needs, in addition to treating their pups to a weekend of extra play and paw-some perks with the Bed & Bowl weekend package, featuring:

  • Welcome Pooch Perks Box
  • Dog leash
  • Waste removal bags
  • Pet treats
