Companies in the hospitality sphere are adding new executives, including a new leader for the Serta Simmons Bedding Hospitality Division.

Brian Coughlin to lead Serta Simmons Bedding Hospitality Division
Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC has added Brian Coughlin as VP/GM of Hospitality, reporting to Scott Bolle, SVP, national accounts and hospitality sales.

He brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality and interiors industries to the company, most recently serving as president/CEO at VE Textiles, a manufacturer of high-performance upholstery fabrics. Prior to that, he spent seven years with Warp & Phil, an industry startup he founded, which was ultimately acquired by Kansas City-based Fabri-Quilt, Inc., in 2015.

He also held leadership positions with bedding and drapery fabricator Fabtex, Inc. and former textile manufacturer Richmond Textiles. During his tenure at Richmond Textiles, he grew the organization into a hospitality powerhouse specializing in brand standardized room décor programs, according to the company.

Lisa Marchese appointed as CCO of Northview Hotel Group
Northview Hotel Group, a privately held hotel investment and operating firm, has appointed Lisa Marchese as the firm’s first chief commercial officer.

She brings 20 years of international hospitality sales, marketing and strategic leadership to the role. She is responsible for all revenue generation strategies across sales, marketing, distribution and analytics for Northview Hotel Group’s properties.

Marchese is involved in all experience touch points, including Northview’s hotels, resorts, resort communities, clubs, restaurants, spas and golf courses. She oversees each property’s analytics and insights; revenue growth; product and market development; commercial, brand and promotional strategies; distribution and worldwide reservations; and recognition and loyalty.

At The Boca Raton, Marchese will play an active role in the firm’s continued rebranding and transformation of the propery set on 200 waterfront acres in South Florida. In San Francisco, she will oversee the launch of the Beacon Grand, A Union Square Hotel (formerly Sir Francis Drake Hotel). Following an extensive renovation of all guestrooms and public spaces, the Beacon Grand is scheduled to reopen on July 1, 2022. At Brasada Ranch in Bend, OR, she will work with the executive leadership team to continually refine the guest and member experiences.

Before Northview Hotel Group, she served as CCO at Fora, a London-based premium, flexible workspace provider that emphasizes the role of hospitality, wellness and service in the office sector. Prior, as COO, she launched The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. She then joined The Venetian and The Palazzo Resort and Casino as CMO, responsible for brand and marketing, as well as sales strategies. And at Witkoff, as CCO, she oversaw the rebrand of the Park Lane in NYC, the opening of the West Hollywood Edition and the creation of the Park Santa Monica.

Habitas appoints Marco Franck as new global head of hotels
Habitas, a sustainable, experience-led hospitality brand with properties on three continents, has appointed Marco Franck as global head of hotels.

In this new leadership role, he oversees the operations of all Habitas’ current and future hotels, including wellness, sustainability, revenue management and sales, to support the group’s rapid global growth. He will report directly to Habitas co-founder and CEO, Oliver Ripley.

With a hospitality career spanning the globe, from Greece to Singapore, he joins the company from his previous role as managing director of operations for Aman Asia, where he led the executive and strategic oversight of Aman’s Asia portfolio. Having spent more than 12 years with Aman, his previous roles included global head sustainability, regional director Americas and GM at Amanyara. He also held various executive roles with Starwood, Shangri-La and InterContinental after a decade working in fashion and the free-standing restaurant and bar scene in Paris.

Tony Lariño joins HEI Hotels & Resorts as managing director of investments
HEI Hotels & Resorts has hired Tony Lariño as managing director of investments.

Over a 28-year career spanning investment banking, real estate and hospitality, he has completed billions of dollars of transactions across the capital stack, both in the U.S. and internationally. Most recently, he was a partner with Rockwood Capital, where he led the firm’s hospitality investments and managed value-add real estate funds with more than $2 billion of assets.

Prior to Rockwood, he had stints at Westmont Hospitality and Starwood Hotels & Resorts as their SVP of development for full-service brands in the Americas. Before joining Starwood, he began his career with Morgan Stanley’s investment banking group.

Premier hires Roland Mouly As SVP, strategic partnerships
Interior design, procurement, capital management, and project management firm Premier continues its expansion with the hiring of Roland Mouly as SVP, strategic partnerships.

As an established leader with more than 25 years of experience, Mouly will be integral to expanding Premier’s core business: interior design, architecture, procurement and project management services, the company reports.
He is tasked with seeking and negotiating renovations opportunities for Premier within North America, Mexico and the Caribbean. To implement this aggressive growth initiative, he will leverage Premier’s unique components and 25+ years expertise ranging from architecture, design, procurement and project management to target third-party owners and operators seeking a full service solution to reposition their hospitality portfolios. Tapping into his knowledge of the region and his connections, he will also be asked to bring accretive acquisition opportunities for Ashford Inc.

Before joining Premier, Roland served as the regional practice leader at HotelAVE, where he expanded and consolidated a growing portfolio of more than 15 prominent assets in the Mexico/Caribbean region. Prior to launching HotelAVE, Roland oversaw all development activities for the Carlson Hospitality Group in the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America dramatically expanding the company’s presence to more than 70 hotels in Latin America.

In his previous roles, Roland he successfully acquired, built and negotiated large hotel portfolios including a number of luxury and first-class hotel assets, positioning several established international hotel companies as prime owner, operator, and franchisor in various segments.
