Paul Brussow named RLB North America president

International property and construction consultancy firm Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has appointed Paul Brussow as its new president of the North Americas, effective Jan. 1. The move follows the retirement of Julian Anderson, who served as president of the firm for 32 years.

“I am honored to take on the role of president of our North American practice,” said Brussow. “Our clients can expect the same level of quality and service that they have come to expect from Rider Levett Bucknall. Our teams are committed to ensuring that our client’s needs are met and that we continue to provide the best service possible.”

He joined RLB’s Sydney office in 1995 as a quantity surveyor and moved to the U.S. two years later. He pivoted his skillset to become an expert in construction project management. During his nearly three-decade career, he has advised on more than $10 billion in projects, developing and executing custom construction-management programs to help his clients achieve commercial success.

“I’m particularly proud of our associate shareholder program that benefits both our business growth and our employee’s sense of ownership,” said Brussow. “Ensuring we offer a diverse workplace that supports each employee’s personal and professional goals is something we celebrate.”

He continued, “We are confident that this transition will enable us to serve our clients well into the future and continue to grow as a company. We can make a positive impact on a client’s vision. Moreover, we have the skillset to make our clients’ projects successful. But at the end of the day—we aren’t just bringing imagination to life; we’re building the future.”
