ISHP supports AHLA’s efforts to combat human trafficking

KSL Resorts expands partnership with UniFocus
UniFocus, the leading provider of workforce management systems, has expanded its role as the official provider of fully automated labor management and time and attendance platforms for KSL Resorts. A full-service hospitality company that manages destination resorts, hotels and high adventure experiences across the country, KSL Resorts utilizes UniFocus technology as a brand standard for new property acquisitions, ensuring continuous high-quality service and effective use of staff time across its growing portfolio.
Leveraging a 15-year partnership with KSL Resorts, whose resorts offer spa, golf, tennis, ski and beach locations, UniFocus workforce solutions currently service Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach, CA; Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina and Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA, and remains a priority for new KSL Resorts-managed properties.
The UniFocus Labor Management suite leverages a range of intelligent algorithms to predict the rise and drop in service demand which can fluctuate on an hourly basis, which can lead to a lapse in service quality if departments are not sufficiently staffed at the appropriate times. Using the UniFocus Labor Management solution, KSL Resorts properties benefit from intelligent scheduling automation ensuring that staff are assigned to the shifts and service areas where they are needed most. This not only leads to more responsive operations that can accommodate sudden service demand rises using a hotel’s existing staff resources, but also results in increased employee satisfaction and loyalty by providing them with the effective support they need.
