Duetto delivers new rate management experience
Duetto has added a series of new features for GameChanger, its revenue optimization application.

The New Rate Management Experience (NRMX) features are designed to enable revenue teams to work more strategically, consolidating all rate publishing pages into one single, unified view.

“We’re excited to unveil new features to improve the user experience in GameChanger, the world’s only cloud-native, multi-tenant RMS,” said David Woolenberg, CEO, Duetto. “Our iterative approach to product development means that every Duetto user is always using the latest version of our platform. Nightfood secures ‘recommended brand’ status with Remington Hotels
Nightfood Holdings Inc. has revealed that Nightfood ice cream has attained “recommended brand” status with hotel management company Remington Hotels.

Nightfood has received initial purchase orders for the national rollout of Nightfood ice cream pints into hotels across the country, and is on schedule to be in national wholesale distribution. Remington Hotels is recommending Nightfood’s sleep-friendly ice cream to its portfolio hotels for inclusion in its lobby grab-and-go shops.

“We’re delighted to announce our relationship with Remington,” said Sean Folkson, CEO, Nightfood. “We expect to establish many similar arrangements in the coming months as we expand our distribution, but only one can be the first. Remington’s forward-thinking philosophy and powerful focus on guest satisfaction inspired them to lead the way in the hospitality industry adoption of sleep-friendly snacks for hotel guests.”

AHLA welcomes ClubCorp as new member
The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) has added ClubCorp, now known as Invited, as a new member.

ClubCorp is an owner/operator of private clubs, with more than 200 golf and country clubs, city clubs and stadium clubs in 30 states, the District of Columbia and two foreign countries. Founded in 1957, ClubCorp provides first-class amenities, benefits, lodging and service to members and guests.

Ron Vlasic, ClubCorp EVP, operations City & stadium clubs, is a current member of AHLA’s board of directors and former chair of the board. He will remain on AHLA’s board as an individual representative in his capacity for ClubCorp beginning next month.

“I’ve seen the vast array of benefits AHLA members realize firsthand, and I know that an AHLA membership is an important investment in the future of hospitality,” said Vlasic. “As an operator of lodging and accommodations offerings within ClubCorp’s portfolio, we are excited to have access to AHLA’s advocacy communications, conferences and events, and organizational resources through our membership.”

Stayntouch appoints Dan Hogan as chief product officer
Stayntouch, a provider of cloud hotel property management systems and guest-centric technology, has appointed Dan Hogan to the role of chief product officer.

Hogan comes to Stayntouch with more than two decades of experience in all aspects of hospitality software development and delivery, including as VP/GM, LightSpeed PMS, where he led the company for more than 18 years and oversaw the installation of the Galaxy LightSpeed PMS system to over 700 Starwood locations globally, with revenues totaling more than $20 million. As the chief product officer at Stayntouch, he will be tasked with executing the company’s product strategy, combining innovation with operational expertise and scaling the company’s product offerings to help hotels in all segments meet new industry challenges, while delivering an enhanced guest experience.

“I am honored to join Stayntouch and lead a team of solution-driven product experts helping to reshape the expectations and capabilities of technology in hospitality,” said Hogan. “I look forward to propelling our product output and establishing Stayntouch’s product offerings as the most flexible, scalable and easy-to-use technology suite for hotels of all market segments.”

Kerten’s Theo Bortoluzzi receives ISHC Young Leader Award
The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), in partnership with the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF), has presented the ISHC Young Leader Award to Theo Bortoluzzi, the youngest member of the Kerten Hospitality team.

Bortoluzzi has grown from intern to business development manager in just two years. Based in Barcelona, he was instrumental in the signing of Kerten Hospitality’s first deal in Europe and is currently spearheading projects that help support the development of more sustainable properties.

ISHC CEO Andrea Belfanti said, “Very few people have advanced in their career as quickly as Theo. He has a passion for hospitality, and we need young, talented leaders in our industry who are in it for the long haul. Now more than ever it is important to recognize young talent in our industry and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so with our partners at IHIF.”
