Partner news

This week’s Partner News is highlighted by ASSA ABLOY implementing door locks, safes and minibars at Hotel La Compañía in Panama; Preferred Hotels & Resorts choosing Canary Technologies’ guest management system; and JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group launching a podcast. Read about all that and more below.

Hotel La Compañía deploys ASSA ABLOY solutions
ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions has implemented several of its innovative security and guest experience-enhancing platforms at Hotel La Compañía in Panama. A luxury property that’s part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, the hotel has adopted VingCard Signature RFID door locks, and has also added Elsafe Zenith safes and Polarbar minibars in each of its 88 guestrooms.

While recently opened to guests this year, Hotel La Compañía is housed within a historic building dating back to the 17th century that serves as a living museum. With VingCard Signature RFID, the property gains advanced anti-keycard cloning abilities that protect against the risk of unauthorized access using the industry’s highest standard in data encryption. By deploying VingCard Signature RFID using online mode, the property is further able to maximize hotel safety by providing staff with real-time alerts to any security-related issues requiring immediate attention. These include notifying employees of a wandering intruder attempting to use a keycard on multiple doors in an effort to gain access. If any keycards are suspected of being inappropriately used, staff can instantly deactivate them before a security threat escalates.

Maximizing guest security and confidence at Hotel La Compañía is the adoption of Elsafe Zenith electronic in-room safes to protect valuable belongings. The safes come equipped with advanced anti-tamper protocols and are tested to withstand multiple physical break-in attempts.
