This week’s Partner News is highlighted by Duetto and Oaky forming a strategic partnership; Curator Hotel & Resort Collection partnering with Tayst Coffee; and Optii Solutions integrating with RMS Cloud. Read about all that and more below.

Duetto, Oaky form strategic partnership
Duetto and Oaky have revealed a strategic partnership that delivers analytically powered, highly targeted upgrade offers to guests. The integrated solution connects Duetto Open Pricing, room type pricing and brand strategies with Oaky’s highly personalized upselling platform to yield 45% higher guest spend per upgraded night.

As traveler demand returns, the Oaky/Duetto partnership will enable hotels to drive even higher ADRs to optimize demand peaks by presenting personalized upgrade offers direct to guests via Oaky.

How it works:

  • The guest receives an Oaky pre-arrival email which directs them to a landing page to see upgrade offers.
  • The landing page delivers tailored offers to the guest, populated with dynamic rates calculated by Duetto based on check-in/checkout dates.
  • Room upgrade supplements are calculated for all available room types based on the property’s proven Duetto rate strategy and data.

Optii Solutions integrates with RMS Cloud
Optii Solutions, a leading cloud-based hotel operations software, has revealed a two-way integration with RMS Cloud, a property management and hotel management system for luxury hotels, resorts and boutique city hotels. The two-way integration will enable existing RMS users to streamline housekeeping and connect front and back of house to help hotel and operations managers update daily operations. With offices globally, the integration with RMS is part of the expansion plans for Optii to reach hoteliers worldwide.

The two-way integration means hotel customers are able to take advantage of a streamlined technology solution where they can have room status updates in real-time, queued and blocked rooms automatically prioritized and increased transparency between the front desk and housekeeping. It provides an intuitive solution that optimizes labor and cleaning routes through predictive technology and automation.

With Optii, RMS customers will be able to have a 360-degree view of their operations, so they have full visibility into where more resources need to be allocated and where productivity can be improved. This approach will allow hotels of all sizes to operate with greater efficiency and increase productivity within their housekeeping teams.

LG Electronics earns top rating in Marriott MindClick program
LG Electronics has received the highest possible rating in the 2021 MindClick Sustainability Assessment Program (MSAP) for Marriott International. As a supplier of hotel TVs and digital signage displays for 14 Marriott brands, LG has earned the “Leader” rating for seven consecutive years and remains the only display manufacturer to receive the distinction, according to the company.

The “Leader” rating demonstrates LG’s “exemplary use of environmentally and socially responsible practices throughout the life cycle of all product lines, from material choice to end-of-life solutions,” verified by MindClick through a rigorous audit process. The MSAP is an annual assessment of Marriott suppliers that evaluates the sustainability of their products’ lifecycle.

The assessment program evaluates products based on their operational footprint, with environmental and social metrics such as energy, carbon and water reduction, and human and labor rights. It also measures metrics such as carbon footprint from product use and distribution, recyclability, as well as use of sustainable materials and avoidance of chemicals of high concern. Suppliers are recognized in one of three levels: Starter, Achiever and Leader. In 2021, LG achieved top scores in seven of the nine evaluation categories.
