Plava Laguna partners with IDeaS
Plava Laguna, a multi-segment, leisure hotel company, has selected IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) to automate processes and leverage the technology ahead of an anticipated busy summer season.

Plava Laguna’s multi-segment portfolio includes hotels, villas, apartment resorts, campsites with pitches, glamping tents and mobile homes. G3 RMS will help the hotel group be agile and proactive in the face of a volatile and uncertain market. Having been more reliant on tour agency business in the past, Plava Laguna will leverage IDeaS to transition to a more direct and transient business approach. Beyond the ability to easily integrate its revenue management processes across all its properties, another key driver in its decision-making process was the transparency and power of the deep analytics of G3 RMS to enable holistic visualization of critical data insights.

Operto acquires VRScheduler
Operto Guest Technologies, a leader in property automation and IoT control systems for the hotel, vacation and short-term rental industries, has acquired VRScheduler. Founded in 2017, VRScheduler’s platform enables property managers of all property types to better manage and deploy their operational resources, dramatically lowering costs and increasing efficiency.

The VRScheduler platform will continue to be developed alongside the Operto operating ecosystem, as a “sister” brand, maintaining its existing leadership and team. Operto recently launched its proprietary Connect operating system earlier this year, eliminating common friction points for guests, owners and operational teams, while enabling seamless, personalized stays. Further, Connect improves guest satisfaction, creates greater operating efficiency and drives revenue generation opportunities for its customers.
