Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland selects Mills James
The Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, managed by ASM Global, has selected Mills James as its audiovisual production partner.
Mills James will become the convention center’s preferred provider of production services and its exclusive provider of rigging services. Founded in Columbus in 1984 by Ken Mills and Cameron James, the creative firm produces live and virtual events, broadcast television programming, commercials and visual communication in all its emerging formats. Mills James will support the convention center from its Cleveland-based office and will help it elevate event experiences through the strategic use of staging; video and lighting innovations; projection mapping; experiential technologies; virtual event platforms and more.
Access Point Financial closes on loan for San Antonio area Hampton Inn
Access Point Financial (APF) has closed on a $5.975 million bridge loan for a Hampton Inn & Suites in a suburb of San Antonio. The loan has a three-year term with two one-year extension options and 24 months of interest.
The Hampton Inn was built in 2005 and underwent Hilton’s Forever Young renovation in 2017. APF provided the bridge financing needed for the borrower to acquire the hotel and complete a minor change of ownership PIP.
Halepuna Waikiki Hotel chooses Agilysys
Agilysys Inc. has expanded its relationship with Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani with the addition of its modern cloud-native SaaS food and beverage ordering solution, IG OnDemand. A current user of Agilysys’ InfoGenesis POS, Halepuna again looked to Agilysys to meet their enhanced health and safety procedures for guest food & beverage ordering, including encouraging social distancing.
IG OnDemand will allow guests to place food & beverage orders from anywhere using their own device—phone, tablet, laptop—and collect their order at the hotel’s grab-n-go counter, enjoying a contactless dining experience including payment. As a result, Halepuna can increase revenue opportunities while enhancing guest safety and service.
Curator Hotel & Resort Collection selects Duetto
Curator Hotel & Resort Collection named Duetto as a preferred partner for revenue solutions for its independent hotel members. The partnership agreement enables hotels in the collection to contract with Duetto at preferred terms for its GameChanger application for pricing optimization, ScoreBoard for intelligent reporting and BlockBuster for optimizing contracted business segments.

World Cinema launches creative agency
World Cinema (WCI) has launched a full-service creative agency, CarrierWave, further highlighting WCI’s unique position to meet the needs of hotels, multifamily properties, student housing properties and senior living communities. CarrierWave creative services are available for existing WCI customers as well as new clients.
