Virdee partners with dormakaba
Virdee, a SaaS company serving the lodging, multifamily and commercial real estate industries, has partnered with dormakaba’s multi-housing smart lock access control solutions. The partnership provides customers and third-party integrators with a seamless solution for digital check-in and visitor engagement at buildings with dormakaba products.
The Virdee platform not only supports property access through the dispensing of key cards from Virdee’s Virtual Reception kiosk, but also through mobile keys via Virdee’s mobile application. Keys are only issued when a visitor’s identity has been securely verified and matches the record on file in the property management system.
By partnering with dormakaba, Virdee ensures its customers can quickly and easily integrate its solution with existing dormakaba’s RFID and BLE technology. The partnership also adds dormakaba’s Ilco, Saflok, AmbianceTM, System 6000 and Atlas brands to Virdee’s electronic hotel lock portfolio.
Loews Hotels & Co. invites travelers to support local teachers
Loews Hotels & Co. is looking to help teachers and students as they prepare to head back into the classroom and operate in this “new normal.” For any two-night (or more) stays booked direct, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Loews Hotels will donate to DonorsChoose to help fund local school projects for the 2021-2022 school year. DonorsChoose.org is an online non-profit that makes it easy to help teachers and students in need by allowing people to donate directly to local public school classrooms.

BeyondTV GuestCast significantly allows guests to cast virtually any content of preference from personal devices onto guestroom televisions without ever requesting personal login information. The platform is also designed to be fully compatible with existing hotel television and WiFi network hardware, eliminating the need for complex integrations or equipment replacement.
