Olympia Hospitality has entered a new management partnership with Stonehouse Capital and Spruce Point Inn Resort & Spa, an oceanfront property located on more than 55 acres of spruce-lined woodlands in Boothbay Harbor, ME.
The inn is slated to reopen for the 2026 season in May and will welcome guests under Olympia’s management.
Established in 1892, the historic resort features 85 rooms ranging from contemporary lodge accommodations and classic cottages to multi-bedroom villas and townhouses. The resort offers three distinct dining outlets, including signature restaurant Whiteclover, as well as a full-service spa; two outdoor pools, including a recently enhanced pool experience; Har-Tru tennis courts; boat tours; and kayaking.
Recent investments by Stonehouse Capital have further elevated the resort’s food and beverage program and outdoor amenity offerings, reinforcing Spruce Point Inn’s standing as a premier destination resort.
“Spruce Point Inn has a history and connection to Midcoast Maine and Boothbay Harbor that’s genuinely hard to find anywhere else and protecting that is a non-negotiable for us in any partnership,” said Jeff Broaden, CEO/managing partner, Stonehouse Capital. “We are super excited about the partnership with Olympia and to work with the wonderful team there. With their home base in Maine, expertise in independent hotels, and their shared values, we knew they were an outstanding fit. We’re confident this partnership will elevate the experience for guests, staff and the Boothbay Harbor community for years to come.”
Sara Masterson, president, Olympia Hotel Management, said, “Maine is where our roots are, and its culture is central to our hospitality style. Spruce Point Inn is exactly the kind of place-driven property where our experience thrives. We’re excited to be moving forward with Jeff and his team. Through their thoughtful investment strategy and genuine long-term vision, they have given us a strong foundation to build from, and we’re looking forward to carrying that momentum forward.”
