Oetker Collection is taking its European hospitality to the U.S. for the first time to open The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, FL, next fall.
Owned by Reuben Brothers, which partners with Oetker Collection on Hotel La Palma in Capri this summer, the new hotel will be located two blocks off Worth Avenue and blocks away from the beach.
Oetker Collection is bringing back the Vineta name that it held for more than 50 years for the hotel housed in a nearly 100-year-old building. The landmark building with a pale-pink facade will be restored and undergo a renovation led by Paris-based interior designer Tino Zervudachi.
“This is a monumental moment in the brand’s history as we announce our first ‘Masterpiece Hotel’ in the U.S.,” said Timo Gruenert, CEO, Oetker Collection. “Many of our existing guests have long visited or are residents of Palm Beach, and we therefore look forward to extending Oetker Collection’s unique hospitality ethos based on our values of family spirit, elegance and genuine kindness, to this wonderful town with The Vineta Hotel.”
The hotel will include four distinct food & beverage venues, including the former Leopard Lounge, which once served as a popular Palm Beach night spot for celebrities and locals and will undergo a full transformation.
“We are incredibly excited to be working with Oetker Collection on The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, a place very close to my and my family’s heart,” said Jamie Reuben, Reuben Brothers. “With Oetker Collection’s renowned and refined approach to luxury hospitality, I am confident that the hotel will become a staple in Palm Beach for generations to come.”
