Northview Hotels & Resorts, a privately held hotel investment and operating firm, has promoted Lisa Marchese from chief commercial officer to president. In this new role, she will lead operations across the portfolio while continuing to oversee the group’s revenue optimization, marketing, sales and technology divisions.
Marchese joined Northview Hotel Group in 2022, bringing more than 20 years of board, corporate and property-level leadership experience. Her background includes senior roles at hospitality and lifestyle brands, including Fora, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, The Venetian, The Palazzo Resort and Casino and Witkoff.
She “redefined brand building and marketing” in Las Vegas through her work launching The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, according to the company.
At Las Vegas Sands—then the world’s largest hospitality company—Marchese led guest experience initiatives across both Las Vegas and Macau properties. Her work included pioneering art installations like Laura Kimpton’s monumental “LOVE” sculpture at The Venetian, implementing co-working spaces and launching technology solutions such as Facebook Messenger booking chatbots. Her leadership continued at Witkoff, where she spearheaded the repositioning and rebranding of Park Santa Monica and opened The West Hollywood Edition. More recently, at Fora, she applied luxury hospitality principles to transform the premium flexible workspace sector in London’s competitive market.
Since joining Northview Hotels & Resorts, Marchese has played a role in shaping revenue-generating strategy and elevating brand experiences across the portfolio, the company reports. As chief commercial officer, she reimagined the positioning of Northview’s hotels, resorts, resort communities, clubs, restaurants, spas and golf courses nationwide. In San Francisco, she led the revitalization of the Beacon Grand, formerly the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, enhancing its brand identity and guest experience. Her work included the development and relaunch of its rooftop lounge, Starlite.
In South Florida, Marchese contributed significantly to the transformation of the historic Boca Raton, influencing its design, advertising, private club growth and overall performance.
“Lisa Marchese is a creative force,” said Matt Trevenen, CEO, Northview Hotels & Resorts. “Her dynamic mindset and revenue-driven approach will help elevate every property in Northview’s portfolio. I am energized by our partnership and the complementary skill sets we bring to our organization. In our new roles, I will continue to lead business development, partner relationships and acquisitions, while Lisa will take on leadership of all portfolio operations, alongside her continued oversight of revenue optimization, marketing, sales, and technology. Together, we will co-lead design, construction and finance.”
Across Northview’s portfolio, Marchese oversaw each property-level analytics and insights, revenue growth, product and market development, brand and promotional strategy, global distribution and reservations, as well as recognition and loyalty programs.
