My Place Hotels of America, the largest affiliated company of The Rivett Organization, has promoted Eric Myers to SVP, franchise development.
In his new role, Myers will lead the advancement of franchise growth initiatives while deepening engagement across The Rivett Organization, reinforcing alignment between franchise development, construction and operational teams. He will work closely with Brian Quinn, The Rivett Organization’s newly appointed chief development officer, to implement the platform’s broader strategic development objectives. Together, Myers and Quinn will drive a cohesive and disciplined approach to franchise expansion, portfolio positioning and long-term brand growth, according to the company.
Myers joined The Rivett Organization in 2015 as VP, development. In 2018, he transitioned into franchise development, where he has since become a key contributor to the growth of the My Place brand.
“Eric has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to serve our franchisees while contributing meaningfully to the growth of the brand,” said Ryan Rivett, cofounder/CEO, My Place Hotels. “His experience as an owner and developer has been additive across numerous projects and relationships, and his leadership has helped strengthen the foundation of our franchise development platform.”
He added, “Brian’s arrival to lead our enterprise-wide growth strategy, paired with Eric’s promotion, ensures continuity and strength within our franchise development efforts as we enter this next phase.”
Myers said, “I’m looking forward to working closely with Brian and the broader team to execute on our growth objectives. What’s always set this brand apart is the strength of our franchisee relationships, and continuing to build on those will remain at the center of everything we do.”
