Moxy Miami Wynwood has opened in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. The newly built, eight-story hotel is a 50/50 joint venture partnership between Baywood Hotels and Dolphin Capital Partners, with architecture by Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design Inc. and interior design by iCrave, a Journey studio.
The hotel, located next to the famed Wynwood Walls, features 120 rooms, a 24/7 fitness center and a second-floor lobby featuring a full-service bar that doubles as the hotel’s check-in area.
The lobby also serves as the social hub of the property, offering board games, foosball, poker and a selection of art and design books. Bar Moxy also offers breakfast and a Bevvies and Bites dinner menu, as well a grab ‘n go options.
“With the opening of Moxy Miami Wynwood, we’re unveiling a dynamic hub that mirrors the neighborhood’s eclectic charm,” said Chris Thompson, GM, Moxy Miami Wynwood. “In homage to the neighborhood that we are so excited to be a part of, every detail of the hotel has been thoughtfully curated to engage guests and foster connections with the local community. From the captivating artwork adorning our walls to the welcoming ambiance of our lobby bar, we’re reflecting Wynwood’s many charms in our amenities and our overall vibe.”
Ranging from 211- to 592-sq. ft., guestrooms come in five configurations that pay homage to Miami—King (Graffiti Grove); Double Queen (MIA Playground); Double Queen and Bunk (La Familia); Quad Twin (Let’s Bunk) and Mojito XL (King Suite).
The property also has a 3,000-sq.-ft. outdoor space off the second-floor lobby, suitable for meetings and events, and a small meeting room.
