Mint House set to open three properties next month

Mint House, a tech-enabled residential hospitality company offering apartment-style accommodations across the U.S., has revealed plans for further expansion with new locations in Dallas, Seattle and New Orleans. The openings, scheduled for November, are part of Mint House’s expansion plan of adding 3,000 units in 30 markets within the next 12 months, including Brooklyn, NY; Atlanta; Washington, DC; and Charlotte, NC.

The expansion marks the first locations in New Orleans and Seattle for the brand, as well as the second location in Texas—adding to its roster of top-tier markets including New York, Austin, Denver, Nashville and Miami. The new locations will feature Mint House’s signature amenities such as full kitchens, washer/dryers, smart workspaces and living areas in addition to its proprietary tech stack, which includes mobile check-in and keyless entry, smart thermostats, pre-stocked groceries, in-room on-demand fitness from MIRROR and in-room retail experiences. Also on-site at Mint House properties are private outdoor areas, rooftop pools, fitness centers and restaurants.

“Mint House continues to exceed growth projections, illustrating the demand for a new take on hospitality that prioritizes smart, highly amenitized and tech-enabled spaces with the comforts of home like full kitchens and purposeful living and working areas,” said Will Lucas, founder/CEO, Mint House. “Our newest Mint House properties are prime examples of our mission to offer travelers something new with something familiar in an entirely new category of hospitality.”

Mint House Dallas Arts District
Located in the city’s Atelier apartment building, Mint House Dallas Arts District will offer 40 apartments, many with loft-style workspaces and game parlors. The property will also have the highest private pool deck in Dallas, according to the brand, with an infinity-edge pool, private cabanas and a pool butler. It also offers a fitness center; interior and exterior lounge space with grills; a co-working space; and an on-site shop with coffee, food and other essentials.

Mint House Seattle Downtown
Close to Pike Place Market, Mint House Seattle—Downtown will feature two floors of apartments with 10-ft. ceilings, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, quartz & granite countertops and designer floor-to-ceiling tile in bathrooms and kitchens. The property will also include a fitness center and a pet-washing room.

Mint House New Orleans Riverside
Not far from the French Quarter, Mint House New Orleans Riverside is an adaptive-reuse project housed in a converted warehouse with 15 apartments. The interiors were inspired by the bold colors and history of New Orleans. The property will include a fitness center and rooftop lounge areas.

“Coming out of a year that has changed so many aspects of the way we work, travel and even buy our groceries, we are proud to have created a brand that adapts and responds to the needs of today’s traveler,” said Paul Sacco, chief development officer, Mint House. “These portfolio additions demonstrate both the demand for a new type of hospitality that more seamlessly fits into our new normal, as well as the growing interest in this new flexible asset class.”
