Marriott Brands Set Roots Across the U.S.

NATIONAL REPORT—Marriott International is growing its pipeline in cities across the country. Here’s a look at recent openings from its portfolio of brands:

AC Hotel Park City to Make its Debut
AC Hotel Park City, owned by Ensign Hospitality, will open its doors on Dec. 7, in Park City, UT. Part of AC Hotels by Marriott, the design-driven hotel brand from Marriott International, this newly constructed hotel combines a small-town lodge feel with elegant, comfortable rooms and sleek, modern amenities, bringing purposeful design to Park City, according to the brand. The property is close to the Salt Lake City International Airport.

Free of traditional hotel room distractions, the 100 guestrooms are designed to maximize a sense of openness with plenty of open surfaces to place luggage or pull up a chair and work. The AC Lobby features inviting furnishings, locally sourced art and contemporary touches that evoke the feeling of a well-curated gallery. The hotel also features the AC Kitchen, AC Lounge and Bar, a fitness center and swimming pool.

New Marriott Tacoma Downtown Opens its Doors
The 304-room Marriott Tacoma Downtown, managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, is now open in downtown Tacoma, WA. The 22-story hotel is located in the city’s financial and theater districts and connects the Greater Tacoma Convention Center on the ballroom level with a grand promenade. The new property offers guests access to the University of Washington-Tacoma, the Tacoma Art Museum and Mt. Rainier National Park.

The property has 304 guestrooms, 13 event rooms totaling more than 20,000 sq. ft., plus a 6,500-sq.-ft. outdoor event space and 12,411-sq.-ft. Event Hub. Additional amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center, a garden terrace, F&B options and a business center.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Harrisburg West/Mechanicsburg Opens
Officials of Shaner Silver Spring Hotel LLC, a partnership between Shaner Hotels and Quarryville, PA-based Paul Risk Construction, has opened the 107- room Fairfield Inn & Suites Harrisburg West/Mechanicsburg in Mechanicsburg, PA. Paul Risk Construction acted as the general contractor during the building process. Shaner Hotels will provide management services for the property.

Situated off I-81 at 503 Winding Creek Blvd., the five-story hotel is near Hersheypark, Williams Grove Speedway, Dickinson College and Gettysburg National Military Park. The hotel features complimentary WiFi, a 24/7 fitness center and an indoor pool. Guestrooms offer ergonomic chairs in well-lit workspaces. Guests also may enjoy a complimentary, daily breakfast buffet.
