Hotel Maya in Long Beach, CA, will transition to an independent boutique lifestyle hotel on April 1, ending its affiliation with Hilton as a DoubleTree property. The move coincides with the hotel’s 50th anniversary as it embarks on a multimillion-dollar renovation.
The updates to the 199-room property, which is Long Beach’s only waterfront boutique hotel with full ocean views, include a refreshed lobby, restaurant, upgraded amenities, additional suites and a modern redesign of all guestrooms.
“This is a milestone moment for Hotel Maya as we celebrate our golden anniversary and step into the future as an independent lifestyle hotel,” said Greg Guthrie, GM. “After years of success under Hilton, we’re excited to evolve while preserving the unique character that makes Hotel Maya a cherished Long Beach destination.”
Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool, free WiFi, a fitness center, a business center and EV charging stations.
The property offers views of the Pacific Ocean, the Queen Mary and Downtown Long Beach. It is a mile from the Long Beach Cruise Terminal and Port of Long Beach, two miles from City Center and 10 miles from Long Beach Airport.
