Hospitality investment firm LionGrove has appointed Edward Mady as SVP/managing director.
Based at Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort, a Wyndham Grand Resort in Puerto Rico, Mady will oversee operations, guest experience and strategic initiatives across LionGrove’s managed resort portfolio, including Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort and Wyndham Palmas Beach & Golf Boutique Resort in Puerto Rico, and ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection in Arizona.
He joins the company with more than four decades of hospitality leadership experience with companies including Dorchester Collection, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Helmsley Hotels and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
Most recently, he has served as a board member for Surf Air Mobility, and as founder/president of Edward Mady, LLC, providing leadership consulting and advisory services for the luxury hospitality industry. Prior to this, he was GM of The Beverly Hills Hotel and regional director, USA for Dorchester Collection, overseeing Hotel Bel-Air.

In his new role, Mady will work closely with resort leadership teams to drive operational excellence, strengthen guest satisfaction, support talent development initiatives and advance strategic priorities across the portfolio. He will serve as managing director of Wyndham Grand Rio Mar and will oversee the LionGrove resorts’ general managers, reporting to Sariego.
