Laura Galbreath joins Garfield Public/Private

Garfield Public/Private, a national public/private commercial real estate developer, has appointed Laura Galbreath as SVP, development. In her new role, Galbreath plans to bolster the company’s hospitality development group.

“Laura’s extensive hospitality and business experience will enhance Garfield’s ability to serve its municipal and private clients,” said Ray Garfield, chairman, Garfield Public/Private. “With many developments in process—including several recently awarded projects and others in the pipeline—it’s the perfect time to bring Laura on board.”

Prior to joining Garfield, Galbreath served as COO at EYP, an international architecture firm that was acquired by Page in 2022. In her leadership role at EYP, she oversaw resource management and project performance and provided guidance and support to project management teams. At the time of the sale, EYP had 325 employees and Galbreath continued as the COO of Page throughout the integration of the firm. She also previously worked at RTKL (now Arcadis) for more than 20 years, designing and managing hospitality projects across the globe.

“I’m looking forward to getting back into hospitality,” said Galbreath. “I really gained a passion for hotels in my previous design roles, and my operations experience at large-scale service firms will help improve the discipline of Garfield’s business operations.”
