Lafrance Hospitality has acquired the 70-room New Bedford Harbor Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel, a landmark property situated along the waterfront in New Bedford, MA.
The hotel will undergo a series of enhancements under Lafrance Hospitality’s ownership. Planned improvements will focus on elevating guest comfort, modernizing amenities and preserving the unique character of the property, according to the company.

The five-story boutique hotel currently features a 3,300 sq. ft. restaurant and
bar (222 Union Restaurant and Bar), which is open to the public and hotel guests, and
5,100 sq. ft. of total event space.

The hotel will remain open during the transition.
