Recent openings in the U.S. include a La Quinta Inn & Suites in Nashville, a hotel from Provenance and the cofounder of fashion label Vera Bradley and more.
La Quinta Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown/Stadium
The La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Nashville Downtown/Stadium has opened as the 125th hotel featuring the brand’s Del Sol prototype. There are 175 La Quinta hotels in the development pipeline, with openings scheduled this year in key U.S. markets such as Austin, TX; Brooklyn, NY; Denver; and Santa Cruz, CA.
Internationally, the brand, which currently operates in Canada, Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Turkey and New Zealand, has also revealed plans to further expand in China, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
Located along the East Bank of Nashville’s Cumberland River, the hotel has 205 guestrooms, more than 2,000 sq. ft. of event space, an on-site restaurant and bar, a business center, a fitness center and a heated indoor pool. The property also offers other amenities ranging from laundry facilities and dry cleaning service to Bright Side Breakfast.
The hotel is nine miles from Nashville International Airport and across the street from Nissan Stadium, home to the Tennessee Titans. Nearby attractions include the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium; the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum; Bridgestone Arena; Centennial Park; and Cheekwood.
The Bradley
The Bradley in Ft. Wayne, IN, created in partnership with hotel owner and operator, Provenance, and Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, cofounder of women’s fashion label Vera Bradley, has opened. The 124-room hotel has nine specially designed suites, a rotating art gallery and two restaurants including a rooftop bar.
Dutch East Design, a New-York based interior design and branding firm, led the design concept of the hotel’s interior. The inspiration for the deluxe and premier guestrooms comes from Baekgaard’s own personal style, including floral headboards in the bedroom and custom wallpaper in the bathroom. The Bradley also features nine suites of varying configurations. Paying homage to the Hoosier state, all suites are named after a city in Indiana, with two suites designed by Provenance Hotels’ Katherine Durant and the remaining by Baekgaard.
Amenities include locally sourced honor bars; Well + Fit kits delivered to guests’ rooms; a fitness center; as well as complimentary bicycles available to explore the city’s nearby parks and trails. The property also has 2,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
EVEN Hotel & Staybridge Suites Rochester – St Mary’s Area
The dual-branded EVEN Hotels and Staybridge Suites Rochester – St. Mary’s Area has opened in Rochester, MN, home of the Mayo Clinic.
The hotel development is a joint venture between Napean Capital Group, Western States Lodging and EKN Development, with Napean Capital investing the majority of the equity for the project. The hotels are managed by Western States Lodging.
The 134-room EVEN Hotel Rochester – St. Mary’s Area offers an Athletic Studio with cardio, stretch and strength training zones, and every guestroom includes a fitness area with dedicated workout space and in-room equipment. Cork & Kale café is the hotel’s F&B outlet.
The 116-room Staybridge Suites Rochester – St. Mary’s Area showcases the brand’s Next Generation 7.0 design, featuring a lobby with several work and lounge areas that extend into the outdoor living spaces. The suites have distinct zones for working, relaxing and sleeping, and fully equipped kitchens.
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Mansfield
The 108-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Mansfield, MA, has opened across from the Xfinity Center. It will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Reservoir Hotel Partners LLC and managed by Lafrance Hospitality of Westport, MA.
Each guestroom features a lounge chair; window treatments displaying photography taken at the Fairfield Farm; a mobile desk; and a couch, as well as a refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Lebanon Near Expo Center
The 90-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Lebanon Near Expo Center in Lebanon, PA. Shaner Hotels will operate the hotel on behalf of ownership, the Byler Holdings Group and key related business partners.
The four-story hotel has an indoor pool, a 24/7 fitness center, complimentary breakfast and free high-speed internet throughout the property. Guestrooms offer a work area and ergonomic chair.
