“As Domio is a disruptive hospitality brand marrying the idea of home and hotel, Domio’s physical spaces and signature scent cultivate a unique experience that is inspired by this concept,” said Olivia Hnatyshin, head of branding and design at Domio Barrone St. “When thinking about the feeling of home, we collectively listed unique aspects that are commonly relatable: throwing on your college sweatpants that you still wear, drinking out of your go-to wine glass, and not having to ask for the WiFi password. From the moment you walk into a property, we want to evoke the feeling of home where travelers can relax, unwind and use as their own in an elevated living experience.”

Brought to life by Domio’s in-house design team, Domio Baronne St. offers curated apartment-style living, paying homage to the city’s rich cultural history. Available is the custom wallpaper illustrated by Domio’s design team, whose inspiration came from New Orleans’ vibrant character, celebrated landmarks, and hometown celebrities.

“Our in-house design team creates one-of-a-kind prints and wallpapers that are inspired by the respective city’s culture and acts as an unofficial tour guide,” she said. “These prints are also available for our customers to purchase online, our way of sharing design on a larger scale and the first step in our shoppable experience. Delight is in the details, and this can be found in the packaging of our amenities, which is intentionally designed to fit seamlessly with the brands in your own medicine cabinet. The Domio scent was very important in creating an all-encompassing sensory experience. Inspiration for the scent came from the warmth of black tea, florals from your last grocery run, the sweetness of a piece of chocolate and a dash of spice—all elements with some daily familiarity and comfort. When we create this consistent experience for our guests, they are able to check into any Domio across our markets and feel a sense of reliability and confidence, while also being wowed by the thoughtful details.”

Guests of Domio Baronne St. will discover dreamy digs that accommodate groups as small as two and as large as 14. Whether staying in a studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartment, each unit offers full kitchens stocked with all the essentials for any group size.

Each bedroom, living space and kitchen has a beautiful blend of mixed finishes including exposed brick, oak wood, brass fixtures, marble end-tables, plush velvet, leather and suede. Comfort and style go hand-in-hand with Casper mattresses, Snowe kitchenware, and on-demand massages powered by Zeel.

Guests will find Roxy—a fully customized digital concierge. The speech-enabled device provides guests instant access to the front desk, local recommendations, and more. Domio Baronne St. visitors will also have access to amenities such as an on-site game room, business center, state-of-the-art gym, and a rooftop fit with a 38-ft. pool, daybeds, and a view overlooking the Warehouse District.

Domio’s custom-scented candle (perfumed with notes of black tea, florals, chocolate, and allspice—the scent of home) and custom bathroom amenities will soon be available for purchase in all apart-hotel properties.
