Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport changes hands

Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of the 99-room Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport.

“Situated just outside the gates of a top 50 MSA international airport on fee simple land, Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport offers exceptional convenience and accessibility,” said Jon Ruzicka, first VP, investments, Marcus & Millichap. “Planned renovations will align the property with the latest franchisor standards, further enhancing the guest experience. Milwaukee’s tourism market continues to expand, driven by a strong visitor economy and ongoing infrastructure investments.”

Ruzicka, Joseph Ferguson, Eric Wagner, Jake Erickson and Jared Plamann, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis and Milwaukee offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.

The four-story hotel sits on 1.56 acres and has been institutionally owned for more than 40 years. The upcoming multimillion-dollar air cargo facility at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, set for completion in 2026, is expected to boost demand for the property.
