Hyatt debuts in Brooklyn with the opening of The Livingston

The Livingston, part of the JdV by Hyatt brand, has opened as the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Brooklyn, NY. Midas Hospitality and its partner ACRES Capital developed the 22-story, 104-room upscale hotel.

“We are delighted to bring the warmth of the JdV by Hyatt brand in a way that connects with Brooklyn’s creative energy for leisure and business travelers,” said Linda Eigelberger, principal/chief commercial officer, Midas Hospitality.

The Livingston is located steps from the Barclays Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and the Brooklyn Museum. Multiple subway stations are within walking distance, providing access to Manhattan.

The pet-friendly hotel offers rooms and suites featuring complimentary WiFi, spa-like bathrooms with white marble showers, 55-in. TVs, in-room safes, mini fridges, coffee makers, desks and lounge chairs, with 15 rooms having balconies.

Food and beverage outlets include The Grove Lantern, a full-service restaurant, and Goldfinch Café in the lobby. The hotel also includes an 820-sq.-ft. rooftop terrace and art installations by local creators.
