Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin, a 31-story hotel in downtown Austin, marking the second Hyatt Centric property in Texas.
The hotel’s 246 guestrooms, including five suites, offer Drybar hair dryers, Nespresso coffee makers, BeeKind bath amenities and JBL Bluetooth speakers. Honoring Austin’s artistic spirit, guitar-amp nightstands and vintage show posters can be found in the rooms, as well as portraits in concrete incorporated into columns in the eighth-floor lobby.
The property is located close to the Texas Capitol building, Lady Bird Lake and the University of Texas campus, and is next door to the Paramount and State theaters.
Amenities include two restaurants, Luminaire on the ground floor and Las Bis terrace bar and lounge on the 8th floor, several meeting and event spaces and a 24/7 fitness center.
