Hyatt Hotels Corporation will add four properties to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt as the brand marks its 10th anniversary. The Georgian in Santa Monica, CA; Hotel 1000 in Seattle; Cayo Levantado Resort in the Dominican Republic and The Clayfield in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, are joining the portfolio this year.
“Ten years on, this collection continues to bring together hotels with unmistakable individuality,” said Tamara Lohan, global brand leader, luxury, Hyatt.
Hotel 1000 in Seattle is positioned as a design-forward urban property near the city’s waterfront, within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the stadium district. The 120-room hotel features interiors defined by deep tones, wood finishes and layered textures, with large windows overlooking Puget Sound and the skyline. Public spaces include the Rosebay cocktail lounge and All Water Seafood restaurant, both designed to reflect local influences. The property has also received a Michelin One Key distinction.
The Georgian in Santa Monica, originally opened in 1933, has been restored and reopened following a renovation completed in 2023. The 84-room hotel retains its art-deco character and historic associations with Hollywood figures, while incorporating updated guest amenities. On-site offerings include the Sirena restaurant and the Georgian Room steakhouse and piano bar, alongside event and retail spaces.
Cayo Levantado Resort, located on a private island off the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, is expected to join the collection this summer. The 218-suite property includes multiple dining venues, wellness programming and outdoor activities. The resort’s Yubarta wellness zone is centered on a holistic approach, with a spa, fitness facilities and structured wellness pathways.
The Clayfield, scheduled to open in mid-summer 2026 in Niagara-on-the-Lake will introduce a new luxury property in Canada’s wine region. The design draws on the surrounding landscape, incorporating natural materials and tones inspired by the area’s vineyards. The spa will feature treatments tied to local elements, including clay-based therapies and vinotherapy, and the hotel is collaborating with Stratus Vineyards on guest experiences.
