Hotel Equities names Clint DeLee, Karen Mendez VPs, operations

Hospitality ownership, management and development firm Hotel Equities (HE) has made leadership changes within the organization, including hiring Clint DeLee and promoting Karen Mendez to serve as VP, operations.

DeLee brings more than two decades of hospitality operations experience to HE. His career includes managing diverse portfolios, driving profitability,and enhancing guest satisfaction across top-tier brands. As VP, operations, he will leverage his extensive leadership experience to drive operational excellence delivering best-in-class service and results for stakeholders.

Mendez has been promoted to VP, operations, where she will oversee the new Postcard Cabins portfolio. This portfolio of 29 locations and over 1,200 cabins nationwide represent the company’s expansion into outdoor hospitality. Lindsay Meadows has been promoted to SVP, accounting & procurement. Since joining HE in 2022, she has been instrumental in optimizing procurement strategies and vendor relationships. In her new role, she will oversee accounting and procurement operations, ensuring financial health and operational efficiency as the company continues to expand.

Brad Read’s promotion to SVP, finance recognizes his contributions to strategic finance and commercial operations. With more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international financial leadership, he will continue to lead innovative financial strategies that position HE for long-term and sustainable success.

Michaelanne Colarelli steps into the role of procurement manager after showcasing her creative and strategic leadership in marketing. Her ability to build meaningful relationships and optimize processes will drive value for HE’s properties and stakeholders in her new role, according to the company.

Angela Phillips, with more than 20 years of experience in sales and operations, has been promoted to regional director of sales. Here strategic vision and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in driving sales performance and fostering long-term success for the organization, according to HE.
