NATIONAL REPORT—Recent openings across the U.S. include boutique hotels in Chicago and Grapevine, TX, as well as three extended-stay properties.
Hotel Audrey
Oxford Hotels & Resorts LLC, the Chicago-based hotel management affiliate of Oxford Capital Group LLC, has opened Hotel Audrey in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile shopping district. Oxford worked closely with the investment firm Fillmore Capital Partners to implement the strategic repositioning of the hotel.
Each of the 216 king and double guestrooms and suites includes an executive desk and ergonomic chair; 55-in. flatscreen TV; complimentary WiFi; large windows with city views; and a coffeemaker. Each suite also includes a separate living area with a sleeper sofa. The hotel also offers a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Hotel Vin, Autograph Collection
Hotel Vin, Autograph Collection in Grapevine, TX, part of the $114-million Grapevine Main development, has opened. The boutique luxury hotel and the connecting, soon-to-open Harvest Hall are both owned and operated by Coury Hospitality.
Paying homage to the history of the region with an extensive wine program, the hotel includes 120 guestrooms, including six suites and one presidential suite; all-day dining venue Bacchus Kitchen + Bar; the Rioja Rooftop Terrace community hub and R Bar; and the Riedel Room, a wine tasting room with a temperature-controlled wine wall. The property also offers more than 20,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor space.
Harvest Hall, which will open in October, is a European-style food hall and entertainment destination.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hartford Cromwell
The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hartford Cromwell has opened. It will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Titan Hotel Group of Harrisburg, PA.
The 123 suites offer separate living, working and sleeping spaces, as well as the brand’s custom, three-in-one West Elm sofa, which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed, and a West Elm swivel chair.
Other amenities include daily complimentary breakfast, 1,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, business services, complimentary WiFi, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, a 24/7 Market, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Lewes Rehoboth Beach
Real Hospitality Group Inc. (RHG) has opened the new-build Home2 Suites by Hilton Lewes Rehoboth Beach in Lewes, DE. The hotel is owned by Suitewater LLC, which selected RHG to manage its first extended-stay property.
The 110 suites include fully equipped kitchens and modular furniture, while other amenities include complimentary internet, communal spaces and trademark Home2 Suites offerings such as Spin2 Cycle, Home2 MKT and the Inspired Table, a complimentary breakfast. There’s also an indoor saline pool and an outdoor grill area.
Extended Stay America – Houston – Kingwood
Extended Stay America Inc. has added the Extended Stay America – Houston – Kingwood hotel in Kingwood, TX, to its growing portfolio. The three-story, 75-room hotel is owned by an affiliate of Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors Inc. and will be managed by Aimbridge Hospitality.
The property offers complimentary WiFi, premium cable, a Stayfit fitness room, Stayclean laundry room and a swimming pool. The rooms include fully equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators, stovetop, cookware, utensils and dishes, as well as pillowtop beds, recliners and television streaming capabilities.
