JMC Quality Builders Corp and Cities Edge Architects LLC have combined to create Hospitality Design & Construction LLC (HD&C) to deliver high-end hospitality design and construction services and products to hotel and resort developers, owners and managers.
John Hafner, Luiz Garavelo and Marco Garavelo will provide leadership roles as directors of HD&C.
With complementary operations, and more than four decades of legacy service between them, the two companies together provide deep industry focus.
“Our complementary practices and entrepreneurial mindsets form a powerful foundation for our clients to build on to enhance their success,” said Hafner, owner, Cities Edge Architects. “Together, we will deepen our bench strength, allowing us to continue to serve our existing client base, while also providing the á la carte services necessary to serve an ever-increasing upstream client base.”
The joint venture will create a partnership that offers clients something new in the industry—the option of a one-stop shop or á la carte design and construction services, according to its leaders. Clients now can assemble a tailored package of services that fit their needs precisely.

Cities Edge Architects has been serving national and international clients for more than 25 years. Its industry expertise in hotels, resorts, restaurants, conference centers, recreational facilities and entertainment venues is a great match with the 200 hotels and 30,000 guestroom renovations completed in the past 15 years by JMC Quality Builders, according to the companies.
With the joint venture affiliations, HD&C offers a broad range of services including hotel renovations from PIPs to new construction, emergency repair, pre-construction services, purchasing, consulting and interior design.
HD&C headquarters is in Orlando, with other office locations in Newport Beach, CA; Atlanta; and Willmar, MN.
