Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral near Cocoa Beach, owned by McKibbon Equities and operated by McKibbon Hospitality, has opened its doors.
The six-story hotel offers 156 guestrooms and suites along with 1,100 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space. Guests can enjoy a 24/7 fitness center, a grab-and-go market and a variety of social spaces including a game room, outdoor tiki bar, game lawn and pool deck. Local artwork was curated for the hotel and is displayed throughout, including two murals by Christopher Maslow.
The hotel is also home to J. Bird’s Island Eatery, an independently branded tiki bar and restaurant led by Executive Chef Dustin Jones.

Close to Port Canaveral—the fastest-growing cruise port in the U.S.—the property was designed with cruisegoers and families in mind. Guests can also experience front-row views of rocket launches from nearby SpaceX and Kennedy Space Center, with space-inspired design details and local artwork throughout the hotel paying tribute to Cape Canaveral’s history of innovation and exploration.
The hotel’s development was managed by McKibbon Places, with Base4 as architect and Certified General Contractors serving as general contractor.
