INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Amid the new year, properties are updating their spaces and welcoming back guests. Here’s a look at the recent renovations:

Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport Completes Renovation
Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport, owned and operated by Manga Hotels, opens its doors after completing a $20-million renovation. Manga Hotels has invested in the following renovations to the 12-story property, improving the hotel’s offering with a modern design to the external facade, a rebuild of the lobby, a grab-and-go marketplace, a modern fireplace and a new business center. All 528 guestrooms and bathrooms were redesigned for functionality with a contemporary palette. Additionally, the hotel has an executive floor on the upper levels for added privacy, an updated menu at its F&B outlet, a renovated gym, an indoor pool and enhanced meeting and event spaces.

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes Unveils Redesign
The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Florida has undergone a $30-million renovation featuring newly renovated guestrooms, luxury pool and Club Lounge. Due to be complete in February, the 582 guestrooms will feature design inspired by the natural beauty of the property’s lushly landscaped grounds, wildlife-filled water and surrounding habitats. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes will also be renovating its pool and cabanas and the Ritz-Carton Club Lounge. The pool and lounge will be completed by March 2021.

The Marker Key West Harbor Resort Reveals Renovation
The Marker Key West Harbor Resort in Key West, FL, has unveiled a $3-million renovation of the modern, waterfront property, including its new Residence One & Two Bedroom Suites with open-air balconies, located in the private residence, Harbor House. The hotel’s fitness center was also updated. Additionally, the hotel’s newly updated meeting room accommodates up to 70 guests.

The Grand Hotel Sunnyvale to Add Spaces
The Grand Hotel Sunnyvale in California’s Silicon Valley will complete its $25-million annex  on June 1. A 60,000-sq.-ft. addition will span four floors with 51 new rooms, two meeting spaces and a new gym. In total, the hotel will offer 155 rooms and private villas, three indoor meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 80 people, an outdoor events space for up to 150 people and an outdoor heated pool.
