HB ON THE SCENE: Lodging Econometrics’ Pat Ford Wins The Lodging Conference’s Lifetime Achievement Award

PHOENIX—Lodging Econometrics chairman and CEO Patrick H. Ford has won The Lodging Conference’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

At the Arizona Biltmore, Harry Javer, The Lodging Conference’s founder and producer, and hospitality veteran Michael A. Leven, chairman and CEO of Georgia Aquarium, presented the award in front of hundreds of conference attendees.

“I’m not here today to simply extol his contributions,” Leven said. “I’m here today to thank Patrick Henry Ford for not only what he has done for me, not only what he has done for the industry, but what he has done to prove you that can live a life of faith, a life of duty, a life of contribution.”

Ford began his career with the Dunfey Hotel Company, the predecessor company to the Omni Hotel Group. He spent 20 years in a variety of leadership roles across the country.  He’s a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors and a Certified Hotel Broker (CHB). Ford has been honored by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) as one of the top 75 leaders in the lodging Industry.

“The industry is in my blood, and it will continue to stimulate my interest until the end,” Ford said.
