HB on the Scene Exclusive: TPG Hotels & Resorts unveils renovated Renaissance Boca Raton

Hospitality management firm TPG Hotels & Resorts unveiled the transformational renovation of the Renaissance Boca Raton hotel, located in Boca Raton, FL, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Gatzby-themed grand-opening party.

“The new Renaissance artfully blends functionality with cutting-edge design to deliver an unmatched guest experience,” said Ryan Minto, RVP, TPG Hotels & Resorts, before the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “The renovation touched virtually every area of the hotel from the lobby to the guestrooms and the completely redesigned, ultra-chic, resort-style pool. We also believe the partnership with Meat Market, which manages all our food and beverage operations, truly elevates the overall experience and brings an added energy to the midtown restaurants.”

Mayor Scott Singer, City of Boca Raton; Boca Raton councilmembers Mark Wigder and Fran Nachlas; and Jake Procaccianti, the hotel’s assistant GM, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The 189-room, four-star property began its full exterior and interior property renovation last November.

“We’ve taken a whole new approach with the design direction of this property to reflect the renaissance that we see happening in the neighborhood,” said Ben Perelmuter, president, TPG Hotels & Resorts. “The property is in the heart of the Boca Raton business district and provides business and leisure travelers alike a property that allows them to relax and focus on the true purpose of their trip while enjoying all that Boca Raton and South Florida have to offer.”

The renovation focused on modernizing the guestrooms, guest corridors, meeting space, club lounge, fitness center and public spaces, along with the addition of a 30,000 sq.-ft., resort-style pool deck with a waterfall backdrop and a dedicated WET by Meat Market tiki bar to service pool and VIP cabana guests.

Meat Market, which operates several restaurants in Florida, manages the restaurant, an upscale modern steakhouse, along with banquets and catering for the property.

The property is located off I-95, and is close to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport. Also nearby are Mizner Park, Town Center Mall, Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University. The hotel is approximately three miles from the Brightline Boca Raton station, with access to Miami, West Palm Beach and Orlando.
