HB Exclusive: Ed Robison joins Expotel Hospitality

Expotel Hospitality, a full-service third-party hotel management company, has added Ed Robison as its chief development officer.

In this new role, Robison plays a key role in the development of proactive business partnerships. He will provide general support and education for owners as well as assistance in development. He will also lead the company’s strategy in increasing its strategic networking and relationship building through sales and business development, fostering strong relationships with current and potential clients and helping them bolster their market share and to continue Expotel’s goal in delivering superior performance for hotel owners and investors, according to the company.

Previously, he served as SVP, owner relations and development with HP Hotels, and prior to that was with Hilton for nearly 14 years, as the senior director, owner support for the Hilton focused-service and all-suites brands.

With more than 35 years of hospitality experience, including time with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice and Wyndham Hotels, he has held a number of property, regional and project roles across the business.

Robison said, “I am very much looking forward to taking the company to the next level by helping to grow our portfolio of high-value, quality assets and also working with our owners and investors to deliver exceptional performance at the property level and increased profitability on the bottom line.”
