New City Properties and Method Co. will open FORTH Atlanta, a $150-million, 16-floor development that will include a 196-room luxury boutique hotel with 39 apartment-style rooms dedicated for extended-stays.
In addition, there will be four separate food & beverage concepts, an outdoor pool, a flexible venue for events, a fitness center and a members-only social club. FORTH Atlanta will be the centerpiece of one of the largest mixed-use developments on the Atlanta BeltLine and the country’s Southeast region, according to the companies.
New City has selected Method Co. to operate the property.

In 2018, New City Properties acquired 11 acres of property in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood between the Historic Fourth Ward Park and the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, two blocks south of Ponce City Market. New City commenced construction on three separate buildings, including FORTH Atlanta, in July 2020.
Morris Adjmi Architects (MA), FORTH Atlanta’s architect and interior designer, worked collaboratively with New City and Method Co. to create the contemporary destination. The building features a cast-in-place diagrid facade.
