Atlanta-based real estate firm New City Properties and Method Co. have opened FORTH Atlanta in the Old Fourth Ward.
The property includes a 196-room luxury boutique hotel, four food and beverage concepts, an outdoor pool and deck and a fitness center with classes and spa-like wellness offerings. It also features a members-only social club with curated programming and an exclusive restaurant, bar and lounge.
“We are thrilled to unveil our most ambitious project to date, FORTH Atlanta, and showcase an incredible new approach to holistic hospitality,” said Randall Cook, CEO/cofounder, Method Co. “New City and Method Co. have collaborated every step of the way to ensure FORTH Atlanta embodies and supports the city and Old Fourth Ward’s vibrancy and creativity, while creating a new destination for locals and travelers to forge lifelong connections and indulge in unequaled hotel accommodations, elevated restaurants and bars, cutting-edge fitness and wellness offerings and a social club experience unlike any other in the city.”
The hotel’s interiors were designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, in collaboration with Method Studios, Method Co.’s in-house design firm, drawing inspiration from contemporary European design and early Americana traditions. The guestrooms include custom wallpaper designed by Method Studios, bedding from Bellino Fine Linens, bath amenities from Le Labo, custom shaker-style cabinetry and furniture from Lawson Fenning, Pedrali, Sun at Six, Menu and Gubi. Select suites also offer private terraces, including one suite with a wood-burning outdoor fireplace.
For guests seeking longer stays and more space, the property also offers 39 residential suites with full-size appliances, washers and dryers, All-Clad cookware and Fortessa glassware. Guests at FORTH Hotel also have access to the property’s fitness center and restaurant and bar concepts.
“As an Atlanta native, it’s been an incredible privilege to be a part of the resurgence of the Old Fourth Ward,” said Jim Irwin, president, New City Properties. “However, what’s been sorely missed—until now—is a world class hospitality destination that simultaneously caters to both our neighbors and to those who are visiting Atlanta for the very first time.”
