Hilton’s Connected Room Brings Personalized In-Room Streaming to Guests
Hilton and Netflix have teamed up to create a more personalized travel experience by allowing guests to stream their favorite Netflix series, movies and more on in-room televisions in Hilton’s Connected Rooms.

The collaboration enables guests staying in Connected Rooms to seamlessly access their Netflix account by logging in either by entering their credentials with the remote control or the keyboard on the Hilton Honors app.

Choice Hotels Launches Online Group Management Platform Tool
Through a new portal on ChoiceHotels.com, guests can seamlessly make reservations for groups, review details at a glance, select various payment options, confirm reservations, send customized emails inviting guests to book, and make room modifications at any time. The Group Management Platform is available to members of the Choice Privileges loyalty program who are looking to book 10 rooms or more.

VenueBook Partners with Sage Hospitality and Restaurant Group to Launch Denver Marketplace
VenueBook and Sage will collaborate to launch VenueBook Denver in 2019. The Sage portfolio includes more than 60 hotels and restaurants recognized for their energy and edge. This partnership with Sage Hospitality and Restaurant Group provides its hotels and restaurants access to VenueBook’s suite of booking tools and steady flow of highly qualified event leads from its thousands of corporate event planners from companies like Uber, Google, JP Morgan, Deloitte, Dropbox, Citi, Oracle, Facebook, General Electric, Salesforce, Morgan Stanley, Cornell University, Comcast and Accenture.

Intelity Raises $44M, Sets Sights on Further Global Expansion and Scale
Intelity has secured a $44 million investment from Philadelphia-based private equity firm LLR Partners. LLR’s investment validates Intelity success and the impact it has had on the hospitality technology industry, according to the company. This partnership also sets Intelity up to further its mission to provide customers with the most direct and advanced connection to their guests, while also supporting back-of-house operations and business intelligence.

HIS Intros BeyondTV GuestCast Solution 
Hotel Internet Services (HIS) has launched BeyondTV GuestCast, which provides guests with the ability to securely cast a wide range of personalized content from their own devices onto guestroom televisions.

Compatible with more than 1,000 mobile-based apps, the solution is significantly designed to provide hoteliers with a seamless implementation and management process, while ensuring ease-of-use for guests and providing complete protection over their privacy and personal data. With BeyondTV GuestCast, hotel guests are able to instantly cast their own content hassle-free from personal computers, iOS or Android-based devices. According to the company, sensitive data is never at risk of theft or unintentional sharing, due to GuestCast’s device isolation capabilities that prevent cross-room communication.
