Creativity in Cayman

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has undergone an extensive renovation led by Champalimaud Design, resulting in a combination of the diverse cultural influences of the Cayman Islands and modern mid-century coastal elegance. The interiors have been transformed, creating an inviting and luxurious atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the renovation is the newly reimagined Silver Palm Lounge. This space boasts custom-built furniture, including a hardwood cabinet that showcases a carefully curated selection of rare rums and hand-rolled cigars. It provides a perfect opportunity to incorporate playful, glamorous and dramatic elements.

Throughout the hotel, the spaces have been infused with a fresh color identity, drawing inspiration from the Cayman’s indigenous flora. Deep blues and shades of green have been incorporated, creating a vibrant and soothing ambiance.

The guestrooms and suites pay homage to the Cayman’s rich history by blending British West Indian style with natural textures. This creates a unique and inviting experience for guests. Notably, the property showcases an impressive collection of commissioned and collected local artwork, allowing guests to deeply connect with the culture, history and creativity of the Cayman Islands.
