Cool, But With HeART

Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is starting the year on an artistic note with the unveiling of its new lobby and restaurant decor, featuring 40 one-of-a-kind pieces curated by the contemporary art gallery The Cool HeART.

The Cool HeART was founded by entrepreneur and art dealer, Nausicaa. Beginning her career with a diploma in musicology from La Sorbonne, the famous Paris university, Nausicaa traveled the world as a model working with some of the top designers. After a long career in fashion, she decided to settle in Los Angeles and renew her passion for art when she began working at the Gallery Montaigne as an art curator. She eventually decided to open her own gallery, The Cool HeART, and has made a name for herself in the art world, regularly working with the brightest young, trendy artists throughout Los Angeles.

Works from the crème de la crème of the global contemporary art scene are on display throughout Sofitel Los Angeles, from painter and sculptor Elena Bulatova to graffiti artist and fashion entrepreneur RISK. Major featured artists will be present at an unveiling on Jan. 17, including celebrity and fashion photographer Giuliano Beckor, legendary street artist James Goldcrown, known for his “bleeding-love” walls, and Tiffany Anderson, a self-taught artist who went from being in the popular girls group Girlicious to a highly regarded artist, painting for celebrities such as boxer Floyd Mayweather. Guests will be able to buy limited editions of the artworks as well.
