After completing a $10-million renovation, the upscale oceanfront Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach in Carlsbad, CA has put the finishing touches on all 161 guestrooms and suites, the Coast 6450 restaurant, pool area, outdoor lawn and patio area, front desk, exterior landscaping and meeting spaces. Planning Design & Application Inc. of San Clemente, CA completed the renovation.

In a distinct departure from its prior decor, all guestrooms and suites now have a fresh, modern motif with new contemporary furnishings, flooring and finishes and breezy ocean coastal-inspired design, which imbue a casual element.
Evoking an informal and inviting ambiance, most rooms have sweeping ocean or pool views, and all are appointed with colorful abstract artwork and a taupe and white color palette with vibrant pops of aqua blue, lending contrast to the new plank wood-style flooring and warm wood accents. Furthering its modern and airy feel, new case wood furnishings are designed with natural light veneer woods offset by the crisp ocean-hued upholstery and a textured aquamarine-colored carpet.
Just steps from the beach, the repositioned hacienda-style hotel located north of San Diego is close to shopping and dining options in Carlsbad Village and such attractions as Carlsbad Flower Fields, LEGOLAND and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Additionally, golfing guests can enjoy the nearby Crossings at Carlsbad, an 18-hole championship golf course with panoramic views of the foothills to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
