Charlestowne Hotels has appointed Tom Roman as VP, food & beverage, where he will lead the strategic vision and innovation of the company’s culinary and beverage programs across a portfolio of more than 40 restaurant and bar concepts.
Roman brings more than 20 years of leadership experience shaping food and beverage programs for independent hotels and lifestyle brands to his new role. Most recently, he led food & beverage operations for Life House/Lark Hospitality, guiding a portfolio of hotels spanning 10 states and Mexico. He has also held senior leadership positions with Castlerock Asset Management, Public Hotels and Tao Group. During his career, he has led large teams, launched new venues, streamlined operations and delivered memorable guest experiences alongside strong financial results, according to the company.

Roman will work closely with property teams and hotel owners to create distinctive culinary identities that reflect the individuality of Charlestowne’s 60-plus properties, while also leading initiatives to improve restaurant efficiency and maximize profitability.
