Carnegie Fabrics acquires Kirei

Carnegie Fabrics, a leader in sustainable textiles and space management solutions for building interiors, has acquired Kirei LLC. Kirei provides interior designers, architects and installers with acoustical solutions which are aesthetically beautiful, high performance and environmentally sustainable.

The companies will leverage their combined assets and continue to focus on environmentally responsible innovation— proving that beautiful, high-performance design solutions can be delivered sustainably.

John Stein, president/founder of Kirei will stay on in the role of executive vice chairman of Kirei. In this role,Stein will focus on key strategic initiatives such as innovation, product pipeline, brand building and major business development projects.

Kirei will continue to operate out of its San Diego headquarters. Carnegie is based in New York.
