Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop
Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop has opened as the first Hilton lifestyle property and first Canopy by Hilton hotel in Chicago. The hotel, located on the former site of the headquarters of the Chicago and North Western Railway, joins the recently opened Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Central Loop to become a dual-branded hotel in the city’s Loop neighborhood.
With 350 guestrooms and suites between the two properties, the complex offers two on-site restaurant concepts, two meeting and event spaces, an on-site fitness center and an outdoor terrace space. It was developed by Chicago-based Phoenix Development Partners and is operated by Aimbridge Hospitality.
Canopy Chicago Central Loop offers 215 guestrooms, including 23 king suites and the Depot 226 restaurant. The boutique-style is close to Willis Tower Skydeck, Lyric Opera of Chicago and The Chicago Theatre District.
citizenM San Francisco Union Square
citizenM San Francisco Union Square has opened and follows citizenM Los Angeles Downtown as the company’s second hotel in California this year.
The 195-room, 12-story hotel offers a gym, retail mezzanine and rooftop terrace. As with all of its hotels, citizenM will bring art to the forefront of the property with a series of commissioned works and existing pieces. A variety of in-room art, wallcoverings and one-of-a-kind pieces comprise the collection, including works by Neo Matloga, Rainer Fetting and Jonas Ohlsson.
The bedrooms are all one style with a wall-to-wall window, an XL king-size bed, a power shower, an HD TV with streaming capabilities and a MoodPad tablet that controls the room from temperature to blinds to entertainment.
Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area
IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its boutique lifestyle offering in the southern U.S. with the opening of Hotel Indigo Spring-Woodlands Area in Spring, TX, the most recent project from management company Esperanto Developments.
Located in the community of Old Town Spring and the Woodlands, the hotel features 103 guestrooms. Four suites have a living area and wet bar, as well as a separate bedroom and spa-like ensuite bathroom. Additional property highlights include Crudo signature restaurant and bar, a lakeside pool with its own bar, an on-site fitness center and a private event space.
Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites Broomfield Boulder
Owned and operated by Tharaldson Hospitality Management (THM), the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Broomfield Boulder complex has opened in Broomfield, CO.
The Hilton Garden Inn has 122 boutique-style rooms that come equipped with coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves. It also offers the Garden Grill & Bar, open for breakfast and dinner.
The Homewood Suites has 106 rooms with a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. All suites come with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop stove and dishwasher. Both hotels share a heated indoor pool, fitness facility and outdoor sports court.
Hyatt Place/Hyatt House Allentown/Lehigh Valley
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened the dual-branded Hyatt Place Allentown/Lehigh Valley and Hyatt House Allentown/Lehigh Valley, the area’s first dual-branded project for the brands. The complex is near Hamilton Crossings, Dorney Park and the new Air Products global headquarters.
The dual-branded project features the Aster event center with 5,900 sq. ft. of meeting and event space; indoor and outdoor seating areas with a fire pit and grilling area, sundeck and outdoor dining areas; a 24-hour fitness center; a 2,400-sq.-ft. pool area; the 24/7 H market; and Westside Grill restaurant.
The hotels were developed and are owned by the Jaindl Land Company and operated by TKO Hospitality.
Hyatt Place Allentown/Lehigh Valley offers 109 guestrooms, while the Hyatt House Allentown/ Lehigh Valley has 96 studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens. Both properties feature free WiFi and complimentary breakfast.
