The first hotel for Marriott International Inc.‘s Moxy brand in Canada, Moxy Halifax Downtown in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has opened. The 160-room hotel is owned by JONO Developments Ltd. and operated by Hotel Equities.

The property’s amenities include Bar Moxy, a 24/7 grab-n-go market, a fitness center, 1,250 sq. ft. of meeting space and free WiFi.
The hotel is located near the downtown waterfront close to Scotiabank Centre and Halifax Convention Centre. Other nearby attractions include Harbour Hopper, Emera Oval, Halifax Public Gardens and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site.
