Baywood purchases Philly-area hotel from MCR

Hunter Hotel Advisors has arranged the sale of the Residence Inn Philadelphia Langhorne. MCR Hotels sold the property to Baywood Hotels.

Located in the Bucks County Business Park, the 100-key hotel is located less than one mile from various corporate demand generators, including Almo Distributing, Nordon Food Service Equipment, Metals USA Plates and Shapes, McCaffrey’s Food Markets Corporate Office and Blue by ADT. Attractions in the vicinity include Park Casino, a 150,000-sq.-ft. gambling and entertainment destination, as well as Sesame Place, a 14-acre theme park within half a mile from the hotel.

Hunter’s SVPs Spencer Davidson and David Perrin facilitated the transaction on behalf of MCR Hotels. Hunter has achieved 21 assets sold in Pennsylvania over the past five years.

“David and I are thrilled to have represented MCR in this transaction,” said Davidson. “The newly renovated Residence Inn is the market leader within the Langhorne region, and Baywood was the ideal buyer to inherit the property, amongst a healthy supply of bidders. We congratulate both buyer and seller in executing another successful transaction with Hunter as our Northeast footprint continues to grow.”
