Avion Hospitality has promoted Dan Peterson to COO. He previously served as SVP, operations. In his new position, he will oversee company-wide hotel operations, brand relationships, operational strategy and field leadership across Avion’s portfolio.

The company also promoted Nikita Tippie from VP, human resources to SVP, human resources. Since joining Avion, she has been a driving force behind the company’s people-first culture and organizational development efforts, according to the company. Her leadership has helped strengthen employee engagement, talent development, communication and overall team member experience throughout the organization.
