The larger-than-life installations add an eye-catching dimension and vibrant energy to the space. And through Oct. 31, guests can revel in “The Catastrophics,” a new sculpture exhibition by Seth Kinmont. Commissioned specifically for Hotel Bel-Air and inspired by the estate’s Eden-like atmosphere, the contemporary 12 small-scale, cast aluminum sculptures reflect some of Kinmont’s favorite rare works by contemporary and modern artists. He then projects these objects millions of years into the future, transformed by the changing climate yet still emanating presence and meaning, becoming new forms.
