Aloft Orlando Lake Nona to open next month

Aloft Orlando Lake Nona is set to open on Dec. 14 as the closest hotel to the largest tennis facility in the world, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus, according to the brand. The hotel will include the Althea Lake Nona Events Center, named for famed tennis player Althea Gibson.

With a total of 17,032 sq. ft. of event space including a 6,000-sq.-ft. Gibson ballroom, Althea Lake Nona Events Center and Aloft Lake Nona offer indoor and outdoor options, including a palm-tree-lined pool deck and lakefront backyard.

Designed by HC Architecture, Aloft Lake Nona will feature 205 loft-style guestrooms and 15 one-bedroom suites featuring open floor plans, platform beds, Bliss Spa bathroom amenities and walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads.

Hotel amenities will include multiple dining options, including the all-day, indoor and outdoor Tempo + Grace, and brand signatures Re:Mix Lounge and W XYZ Bar; a natural saline Splash Pool; a ground-level, 24-hour Re:Charge gym; complimentary electric bikes; and Move Nona‘s daily community shuttles in partnership with Beep.

Located about seven miles from Orlando International Airport, the six-story hotel is close to Lake Nona Town Center and the area’s top sports attractions including Drive Shack, Lake Nona Performance Club, the 100-court U.S. Tennis Association National Campus and more than 40 miles of public trails.
